What are your main bearing clearances and rod bearing clearances? Did you measure them? Post please? If you only honed the cylinders, did you measure them also. Sometimes a hone can enlarge the bore and you will not have the best compression results, due to piston rings not sealing properly. The crank alone installed and torqued, should turn smoothly, as you mentioned. If clearances are within spec, you should be fine. Like they say" measure twice cut once".
